Remember when we told you above that we BOOK UP often?... Well, there would be NO WAY for us to go back and get all the customers we said NO to, to backfill YOUR SPOT if you decide to cancel your order. Your deposit ensures availability FOR YOU and your special event, and our entire team and production schedule is based on YOUR ORDER once you book it. Yes, your cake IS that special and we make sure of that!

After filling out our Cake Form (https://www.gingerandspicecakery.com/cakes)and we discuss the details of your event and decide on a cake that you like, if you are interested in booking and would like to proceed, an invoice will be sent to you for online payment. Payment is required in full to confirm your booking.

We accept all major credit cards and e-transfers. For your protection, we do NOT process credit cards over the phone and conveniently send you an email invoice where you can pay by credit card through our secure online system. If you prefer, we can also arrange for an e-transer payment.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is held for all orders. The balance may be refunded in the form of store credit for cancellations up to a week prior to the date needed and the store credit will be valid for 90 days. If an order is not picked up on the day selected or delivery is denied, refunds or remakes will not be made. We make every attempt to contact you in the event of a missed pickup or denied delivery. If a cancellation is made less than one week prior to your event, no refunds will be accepted. *Please understand that when you book an order, we decline other orders to keep time for your creations. If you cancel, that results in dollars lost, just to accommodate your order. Should you need to postpone or change your event date, we will allow a one-time date change, so long as our schedule can accommodate it. No changes or cancellations will be accepted the week prior to the booked date.

In the event of a cancellation or change of date, please make your request in writing through our online Contact Us email address. If requesting a change of date, please indicate the new date required and we will do our best to accommodate it or let you know otherwise.
